AtKM Progress Post 04
Yeah. That Database? Consider it freaking awesome now. All of my weapons are completely in [unless I make any that relate to things in-game, which is always a possibility], the armors are all about half in [they have sprites, names, and most have stats, but some are still missing], the items are probably at about 30% done [though some of the sprites need a liiiiiitle work]... Yeah. I'm pretty pleased with what has happened with that over the last several months.
I've actually been doing a LOT of work on my game, despite the fact that I haven't been posting about it regularly. For example, I have completed the first temple. There are a couple of glitches in it that I need to fix, almost all of them related to the boss battle, but otherwise the first one is finished. The second one is 95% mapped and evented, but there's no baddies, no music, and no ending. The chest items are also missing... Everything gives you 100 gold lol.
But, I think I'm going to be switching up my Battle System, soon. Maybe not actually changing the BS itself, but making enemies free-roaming instead of randomly spawning. I feel like very few games outside of Pokemon do random spawning well and right now, I can lump my own game into that poorly done group as well which... Well, not a good thing.
That's about all I have, but I will share a screenshot of part of the desert section. It's a pretty big maze that's going to have an optional fetch quest for a portion of the massive side quest arc that I've got going on. I'm pretty happy with this map, so yay!
